BEATLES Yesterday And Today ST-2553 STEREO BUTCHER COVER 1966 in original factory shrink - Plant #2
This is one of the nicer stereo pasteovers I have run across in the past several decades. Copies in upper-grade condition are getting extremely hard to find these days. This copy is from the Scranton plant (#2).
The jacket is in beautiful condition, in its original factory shrinkwrap with a nice round "$3.98" price sticker. While not perfect, there are no seam splits in the jacket, no writing or tears. The spine text is 100% intact with no flaking or missing letters. There is a tiny "dent mark" on the upper front of the cover which can be seen in the photo. On the front left center there is a tiny factory wrinkle mark. Overall the corners are very nice. The lower front corner has some wear, more noticeable from the rear side. There is also a small factory "bubble" area on the front slick near Ringo's collar.
The back cover is nice and white and shows very little signs of disc impression. There is some aging on the left (mouth) side. There are a couple of small wrinkle marks on the right side and a short little dent mark.
The disc labels are near mint, the disc is VG+. The inner sleeve is near mint with no splits, tears or writing.   Includes a Certificate Of Authenticity From Jim Hansen of Blue Jay Way Galleries.
