This is just one of 9 original beatles albums i will be listing,all of which are very nice.On offer here is a very nice original 1963 mono 4th press of "please please me".THIS IS THE BEST COPY I HAVE HAD IN AGES!! NOT ONLY VISUAL BUT FOR SOUND,this album was well played so to find one in this condition is a real find..FIND ONE BETTER!!!
Cover
The original Garrod & lofthouse patents pending flipback cover is in Near mint condition.it has no tears,stickers or writing.Here is a description of all parts of this amazing cover
FRONT: The laminated front has no tears,stickers or writing and no laminate damage,corner tips are square!! and there is no fethering on the opening!!
BACK: SNOW WHITE!!! with again no damage just a very tiny bit of the bottom flipback under the £ sign (see scan)
SEAMS: These are great with no wear or splits
SPINE:This is also nice with no splits or damage and the text is clearly readable
Original inner
The original poly lined emitex inner is Mint with no edge splits or tears
Labels
The black/yellow parlophone labels which have "parlophone co.." and "recording first published 1963" text are in fantastic condition,no damage and grade Near mint with just a couple of very small and hardly noticeable spindle marks.Also side 1 is "kt" stamped
Record
The record is simply superb!!..it is unwarped and has no groove or bad marks..would grade Near mint ,in normal light it looks mint!!! but under strong light i could see just 2 main hairline marks,one on each side,each went through roughly 3 tracks..these are the only main problems..SUPERB COPY!!
It PLAYS AMAZING!! with no crackles..no loud clicks..no pops and it does not stick or jump AND IS EVEN QUIET BETWEEN TRACKS!!,all the songs are crystal clear with no sound distortion and PLAY MINT-!!
DO NOT MISS OUT ON THIS SUPERB COPY!!
