THE RECORD IS GRADED MINT-
This is an original 1963 FOURTH press parlophone lp with "THE PARLOPHONE.." and "RECORDING FIRST PUBLISHED 1963" label text BUT it has the DEEP GROOVED labels(like the early decca lp`s),this would have been contracted out to decca records to help them because of the overwhelming demand for the lp.Also take note of the MUCH SMALLER groove ring around the spindle hole its MUCH SMALLER THAN A PARLOPHONE PRESS!!
Also this is by far one of the BEST COPIES I HAVE EVER SEEN!! its almost MINT!!!
The original laminated ERNEST J DAY flipback cover is awesome.The front which has "LARGE MONO" in the top right corner shines with no laminate cracking,the colours are bright and vivid,the four corners are RAZOR SHARP!!,there is NO WEAR,TEARS OR WRITING!! just a few (about 5) small edge creases which are hardly noticeable,also a tiny bit of rubbing in the bottom right corner THATS ALL!!.The back is SNOW WHITE!! with NO RING WEAR and no damage of any kind,the flipbacks are gorgeous with just a few small creases on the top and bottom which are hardly noticeable.The spine is UNTOUCHED,LOOKS NEW!!,The seams are solid with NO SPLITS!!.Altogether a FANTASTIC example!!!
The record which is made out of thick quality wax is in great condition,it looks MINT!!,to be honest i thought it was!! with full gloss and NO groove wear,deep scratches etc,under a strong light you can see a few very light marks/rubs probably caused by taking the record out of the sleeve
The labels are very clean with just a couple of very light and very small "spider" marks around the hole on side 2
I have played the lp and it sounds fantastic!!,definetly not overplayed at all those wild parties,there is no lessening in sound quality at all.From the quiet run on every track plays MINT! with no annoying CRACKLES,CLICKS OR POPS and it does not JUMP OR STICK.There is a little light background noise after 3 of the tracks BUT THIS IS BETWEEN TRACKS AND NOT ON THE MUSIC!!.If you are looking for a QUALITY COPY of the beatles debut lp then look no more as you have found it plus its the rare DEEP GROOVED LABELS
