DESCRIPTION:

(Super Rare original 1970 Box Set on Beatles APPLE Label. The Beatles – Let It Be – LP Box Set - Apple Catalogue No PXS 1 (Not listed on Package).

A breakdown of the Box Set.

1) The Outer Sleeve

Made in Great Britain by Garrod & Lofthouse Limited

(Patent Pending) Has a clear group picture on the front with

A couple of previous tape repairs running down both

Outer edges, this affects both front and back of the sleeve.

There are a few small indentations on the left hand side

Of Paul McCartney’s Photo. There are a couple of

lamination blisters on the front. There are a few general

creases and a couple of scuffs towards the bottom left hand

corner. The back is clean with a couple of mild creases

towards the top.

2) The Vinyl (Graded (Matrix 2U/2U) Dark Green Label

Record generally has some noticeable surface marks

And faint scratches and plays through with some

Surface noise, and a few clicks (Here

And There) The down side is two pronounced scratches

on side Two which extend from the end of track one to half

way through track Three and which play ok but do click.

There is the slightest hint of a warp which does not affect

play. The Dark Green Apple label is clean with some faint

spindle wear marks and a couple of light scratch marks on

the outside edge of side two.

3) The LP Cover (With Orange Apple Logo)

The Cover is in superb (Excellent) Condition with Orange

Apple Logo. Has a few small creases around the edges and

a tiny scuff in the bottom right hand corner. There is a

crease in the bottom left hand side on the back.

The spine is perfectly in-tact and legible to read.

Comes with White (EMI Records) inner sleeve.

4) The (Get Back) Book –

The Rare Get Back book has some general creases and

edge wear. There is a light scratch above the four Beatles

photo’s on the front. The spine has some corner wear and

is legible to read. The inner printed credits are pasted onto

the appropriate page. The book has a used feel, but is

fully in-tact.

5) The Inner Tray and surround are flattened and have lost

shape as is often the case in these Delicate Box Sets.

There is also a couple of small tears and a few creases to

the inner / outer flaps. This is the original tray however,

I understand these trays can be replaced separately.

Considering all sections to the Box.

OVERALL GRADE FOR BOX SET IS (VG-) CONDITION.

This is becoming an extremely difficult Box Set to find.
