Description
The Beatles "Let it Be" PCS7096 Album from 1970. First UK run of album till November 1970 with box and book. YEX-773 2U & YEX-774 2U on run offs. The box is in good order with minor creasing and scuffing, but has obvious signs of age. The sleeve itself is very good with some minor scuffing and shows ring wear through. There is a 1.5 cm tear to bottom open edge. The vinyl, side 1 is very good with only very minimal scuffing, no great scratches. It plays well with a minimum of crackle at intro / outro, visually very bright. Side 2 has a slight single scuff / sratch about 2" nothing deep and plays with no significant disruption to audio. There is a "spider" type mark on the vinyl in side 2 about track 2 / 3 (I have tried to show in the photo). I have inspected with a jewellers loope and it appears to be within the vinyl. The record plays over this area without any major disruption, but has minor crackle. There is some general minor crackle at intro / outro of most tracks. The record is nearly 50 years old and I would recommend a professional clean that should bring audio to excellent. The book is in very good condition. Internally it appears pretty much unused. There is a slight paper crease / lift to the bottom right of front cover. I think the "box" may have had a support frame for the book. This is missing.
