On e-bay you will ocassionally find a Mobile Fidelity Lab pressing of the Beatles second U.K. l.p."WITH THE BEATLES" , but often it is taken from the box set and sold separately or it is the more common edition with the British flag sticker on the sleeve.This is neither---this is the already limited pressing that became even more rare when Mobile Fidelity recalled it almost immediately due to a presumed mastering issue.I was managing an independent record store at the time and my MSFL dist. sent out a notice authorizing the return of any stock of this l.p.I was told that the contract Mobile Fidelity had with Parlophone only allowed them to strike one master for their Beatles series and that a flaw was found in that master.This prevented Mobile Fidelity from continuing to sell the album.,thus creating an instant collectible.This album has continued to grow dramatically in value over the years. It is UNOPENED.There are NO TEARS in the sleeve on this copy,which is rare in itself,as the opening side is perforated.There is NO PRICE STICKER RESIDUE as none was ever attached to it.This went directly to my own collection and has stayed there for nearly two decades.If you have ever had any interest in biting the bullet and adding this album to your collection now is the tome to do it.This is as good as it gets for a GREAT investment piece.
