BEAUREGARDE - (f-empire; stereo; 1971). Great private label guitar fronted blues psych LP from Portland, Oregon, with a local garagy production. Songs about drugs, death, race, sex ... nothing light here! Beauregarde on vocals wrote produced and arranged the LP. Features a young Greg Sage on guitar and Dave Kolpel on bass later of the Wipers. With Jay Lundell- drums; Allen Robinson- sax; Omar Bose- organ. Cuts: "I got something, Super star Super star(Janis, Jimi, Jim), If you got soul(Great cut!! He may be white but he's got soul...), Tomorrow, Everybody ball, I'm talkin' time, Testify, Pass away, I". *Vinyl is VG+, shiny bright with light surface marks. Label side 1 has faint grease pen number on it, side 2 has small initials in ball point pen on it.
