All covers, labels and inners have no rips, loosening of glue, handwriting in ink or biro pen.

All records listed are in no less than EX condition (see above for actual grading). In some cases I may list a very rare record at a lesser grading but this will be described in detail. All items are graded conservatively according to Record Collectors Grading System Record Collectors Grading system (outlined at end of listing)

Brief description of item

As far as these heavy works go...These are all nearly gone from sight. This is the second copy of 'Act One' I have ever seen. I recently sold another which was in the best shape possible. This one is slightly below that, bearing in mind the previous copy was near mint! if you missed that one? give yourself a gentle kick! I know the person who got it was delighted with the copy & the way it was delivered. Please don't miss this one, as I'm pretty fussy about these records of how they both play & look. The cover is in fine shape with only minimal expected wear on the edges. Has an intact spine at the side with no splitting. SLEEVE MADE BY HOWARDS PRINTERS (SLOUGH) THE RARE KEEF ONE! gated cover, inside is in fantastic shape, with no problems - VERY clean, no names or damp, dirt etc. No ripping or tearing to the cover or handwritten pre-owned names anywhere. has the VO prices code on the back right hand side. An excellent example, with bright print & no fade or wear to the artwork. So are you looking at the close up view yet? please see below....

The labels are swirl, and have been checked out under extreme bright light, showing some spindle wear around them in these conditions, both have no ripping or tear. No names etc, all text is 100% legible. The run off wax is 6360 018 1Y//1 FOLLOWED BY 420 1 1 7 & 6360 018 2Y//1 420 1 1. original U.K. press here from the Scottish outfit. Can't get earlier than these. Engineer Martin Birch. Dated 1970.

The inner is here...original swirl with 'PLASTIC BAGS CAN BE DANGEROUS' with British patent numbers 800513 & 978939 The poly liner is still inside the cover only slightly detached on one side, no ripping or heavy use. In VG+ condition. The record is stored in a spare new to avoid any splitting. no names written etc. Proving more to the fact that this is the real deal.

The actual record itself has no warping & sits 100% pure flat on any surface. Has had a test play....

Plays as EXCELLENT if I'm sticking to the record collectors U.K. Grading system below. Visually its about 80% & audio 90%. Plays in the quiet places I.E. Start of side B with some very light tick or isolated dust particles may be the cause, it would benefit from the professional cleaner, and these may dissipate. Apart from small issues the play is VERY LOUD! and stands up to scrutiny. This is as you will know, a phenomenal recording & plays as graded on both sides. Some visual issues if I were to be critical, but these are only caused by the dust inner & storage, a few light hairlines & signs of prior use. Note : NO DEEP SCRATCHED OUT GROOVES, or ingrained dust etc. This is a very clean record & near to being a perfect example age taken in to consideration. So to clarify, even in the later quieter played tracks/parts like 'Memory' play is as excellent or better. Side A is actually the better playing side, BUT this is being highly critical on my part, as only the very slightest of ticks are heard on the changes or play in parts of the vinyl. 

If I were to grade the actual whole package in a percentage scale instead, then out of 100% it would be 80%. Hope this all helps & the close up views below will also be helpful in the description. Don't forget to see the other items I list, or have listed, some real gems this week. Low start & no reserve set for this. Do not miss. You won't get a better more honest description. Record will be packed in a tough custom box DEFENDAPACK mailer as shown in the photos below. The mailer has a locking tab. The record will be placed outside its cover and inside a brand new polythene protector between two card stiffeners and sealed at the top with fragile marked masking tape. Items are labelled "handle with care".

Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condiition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displayes no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable

Good (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has notceably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc

Fair (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler

CD's and CASSETTES As a general rule CD's and Cassettes either play perfectly - inwhich case they are in Mint condition - or they don't, in which case their value is minimal. Cassette tape is liable to deteriorate with age, even if it remains unplayed, so care should be taken when buying old tapes. CD's are difficult to grade visually; they can look perfect but actually be faulty, while in other cases they may appear damaged but still play perfectly. Cassette and CD inlays and booklets should be graded in the same way as record covers and sleeves. In general, the plastic containers for cassettes and CDs can easily be replaces if they are broken or scratched, but card covers and digipaks are subject to the same wear as record sleeves
