1st Pressing Matrix Numbers
Cover: Unlaminated 1st UK pressing Howards Printers (Slough) gatefold cover. Inside is in Excellent+ condition. Outside is Near Excellent. Has an old 'Vertigo' sticker in top right corner of front cover which I have not tried to remove in case it damages the cover. Light edge, corner and spine wear. No writings, doodles or seam splits. Rates as Excellent overall - see photos. Swirl inner bag: Excellent. Vinyl: Play tested. Very similar sound to The Nice/ELP with lots of rocking organ/bass interpretations of many classics. The vinyl looks Excellent and plays VG+ to Excellent. Lovely sheen. Does have light crackle here and there and the odd click. Nothing that will spoil the enjoyment. Sounds absolutely great. Gradings.......
Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.
Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.
Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratches.
Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and more significant scratches.
Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump.
Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc
Bad - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
