Description
For your consideration is a scarce copy of Ben Webster's 'Soulville' on the black trumpeter Verve label, MGV 8274. Deep groove, rare mono version, with the David Stone Martin drawing of the trumpeter. Cover rates VG++... there is very slight ringwear and a crease in the label at the left hand side of the front cover. It is otherwise pristine, with nice gloss, perfect seams and strong coloring. Vinyl rates Mint. That's not a grade I give easily to non-sealed vinyl, but it literally appears as though it has never been played. Please see my other auctions for more pristine 50-60s period, mostly mono jazz lps from the same collection up this week.
