Description

Beautiful copy of the 12" unedited version of the classic 1937 recording of Sing Sing Sing played by Benny Goodman and his orchestra, a truly classic recording of the Swing Era. Originally released as a part of the album, A Symposium of Swing, this copy includes the album cover and one other disc from that set. Mainly this is for the Sing Sing Sing record but the album and other disc are like bonuses. The disc is in excellent condition, with some light surface scuffing but nothing that affects the play much if at all. Plays just beautifully and nearly flawlessly. A beautiful copy, and so much nicer than the shorter 10" version. The second disc included here is the Tommy Dorsey orchestra playing Stop, Look and Listen, and Beale Street Blues. Also excellent condition. The cover is in very nice shape with a little general edgewear but the spine is intact and the binding strong. A really lovely copy of this classic rarity, with its original cover.
