Description
THIS IS THE 1984 UK REPRESSING on HEYOKA RECORDS. UNLAMINATED SINGLE COVER. The cover is in VG+ condition: normal wear BUT light discolouration/wear on/near corners, mild creases on edges, sticker mark+small tear on front (top right), left spine is fully readable, for details see photos (with and without flashlight). The vinyl is in EX condition and plays wonderfully and without lessening in sound quality.

Bent Wind was formed in Toronto, Ontario Canada in 1969 and managed to record and release the LP 'Sussex' that year on Merv Buchanan's Trend label in Canada. (Sussex is a street name in Toronto where the band members practiced.)
With a limited pressing of (no more than 200) during its original run, this 1969 holy grail of Canadian heavy psych music has since become a rarity in the Canadian music Collector's market
Gibas wrote four tracks, Roth two and they combined to pen the remaining two. Ladened with lots of fuzz guitar throughout, every track's a winner and it's difficult to single out individual cuts for praise but Riverside and Going To The City contain some of the best fuzz guitar work. Look At Love is a ballad. The flip to their sole 45 was not on the album. The 'A' side, Sacred Cows, which was, can also be heard on the Reverberation IV (CD)...(Dreams Fantasies & Nightmares)
