Description
It's hard to believe that this disc has sat on my shelves for 52 years and is in such good condition. It plays pretty much AS NEW and I have no hesitation marking it as in EXCELLENT CONDITION (Record Collector grades). I considered, sticking with Record Collector, marking it as MINT but the cover lets the package down a degree.
SIDE ONE - pristine, not a mark on it and it plays as if I'd just bought it. SIDE TWO - there is a light surface mark on Track 2 (Harvest Your Thoughts of Love) but the mark does not sound. There is some slight crackle at the end of Track 2 and between Tracks 5 and 6 and that's all.
The COVER is Very Good to Excellent. The edges and spine have retained their shape. I think you can see from the pix the slight wear from the shape of the disc inside and, on the rear, where 52 years has meant some grime building up where the gloss finish ends.
