IL COLORE DEGLI ANGELI / ...E IL SOLE SCOTTA ... 7-inch, 45rpm OST single by BERTO PISANO e la sua ORCHESTRA with EDDA DELL'ORSO. Original Italian pressing on the RCA ORIGINAL CAST label (OC 15), from 1969. Outstanding lounge double-sider from the mythical Interrabang RCA SP 8027 OST Lp with the b-side theme also used in a BDSM whipping / sex scene from Mario Landi's ultra-sleazy Giallo A Venezia horror film ;) Actually, both sides are heard during Landi's movie and both feature the bewitching vocals of Edda Dell'Orso. IL COLORE DEGLI ANGELI is the funky bossa side (for us, the hottest theme from the Interrabang soundtrack) with that desirable, psychedelic giallo thriller cum dreamy electric piano / euro exploitation sound. Sophisticated, carefree and very cinematic with infectious Brazilian rhythms and gliding strings. Great for DJs with superb production. Groovy spinette jazz and sexy scat on ...E IL SOLE SCOTTA with bass flute by Gino Marinacci / jazz waltz motifs and colourful changes spiked with blasts of burlesque / film noir style brass from Pisano's orchestra. This track is the main theme heard repeatedly during Giallo A Venezia aka Giallo In Venice aka Gore In Venice. IL COLORE DEGLI ANGELI is briefly heard during a boat ride cum voyeuristic kissing scene. On a side note, can anyone ID the funky fuzz tune heard during the infamous cinema scene that only appears on the early '80s Brazilian video release? Striking picture sleeve artwork with pop art typography too. Rare OST 45!!!

Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG  pervert S & M op pop-art

Vinyl is in shiny, strong VG++ condition (closer to M-) with a few hairlines / faint scuffs. Some light surface noises. A few soft pops / soft ticks in places (as you can hear on our soundclip). Superb production sound. The fragile, soft card picture sleeve is in VG+ condition overall with general creasing from storage and small tear to the open side. Light ring dirt marks from storage. Some other dirt marks and natural age discoloration. A few small wear marks to edges. The red colouring down the spine side is part of the original printed artwork. Rare OST 45!!!
