IL COLORE DEGLI ANGELI / ...E IL SOLE SCOTTA ... 7-inch, 45rpm OST single by BERTO PISANO e la sua ORCHESTRA with EDDA DELL'ORSO. Original Italian pressing on the RCA ORIGINAL CAST label (OC 15), from 1969. Outstanding lounge double-sider from the mythical Interrabang RCA SP 8027 OST Lp with a b-side theme also used in the infamous BDSM whipping / sex scene from Mario Landi's ultra-sleazy Giallo A Venezia horror film. Both sides feature the bewitching vocals of Edda Dell'Orso. IL COLORE DEGLI ANGELI is the funky bossa side (for us, the hottest theme from the Interrabang Lp) with that desirable psychedelic giallo thriller / dreamy electric piano sound. Easily one of the best of the genre. Sophisticated, carefree and very cinematic. Great for DJs. This brilliant theme also reminds us of a faster and funkier version of Bruno Nicolai's Garden Party from the Un Bianco Vestito Per Mariale Library or a theme from Pisano's Kill soundtrack. Groovy spinette jazz and sexy scat on ...E IL SOLE SCOTTA with bass flute by Gino Marinacci / jazz waltz motifs and colourful rhythm changes spiked with blasts of burlesque / film noir style brass from the orchestra. This track is the uncredited theme heard during a disturbing scene from Giallo A Venezia aka Giallo In Venice aka Gore In Venice and seems to be the only theme released on original vinyl from Landi's misogynistic masterpiece. Amazing picture sleeve artwork with pop art typography too. Rare OST 45!!!

Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG 

Vinyl is in shiny, strong VG++ condition (closer to M- overall) with a few hairlines. Some faded pressing residue stains to 'IL Colore..' side. Some light surface noises / a couple of soft pops (as you can hear on the soundclip). Superb production sound. Item most probably unplayed prior to the recording of our soundclip. Archive number in pen to one side of label. The soft card picture sleeve is in strong VG++ condition with faded pen notation (just beside "Scotta" wording of front sleeve) / ring creasing / some dirt abrasion marks and natural age discoloration from storage. Rare OST 45!!!
