Description
THIS is a 1968 Extremely Rare MONO (RED LABEL) GATEFOLD LP by BIG BROTHER & THE HOLDING COMPANY with JANIS JOPLIN ~ " CHEAP THRILLS " on the COLUMBIA Label # KCL-2900, White Sleeve.
GOLDMINE Price Guide's comment on the MONO version of this LP: " Red label stock copy has been confirmed."

Side 1: COMBINATION OF THE TWO / I NEED A MAN TO LOVE / SUMMERTIME / PIECE OF MY HEART
Side 2: TURTLE BLUES / OH, SWEET MARY / BALL AND CHAIN
Condition Details:
Vinyl: NO SURFACE NOISE , SKIPPING , POPS , WRITING , STICKERS , WARPING , RING or CENTER HOLE WEAR.
There are tiny light scuffs widespread over groove surfaces and a lot of light scratches, light paper scuffs and a few nicks. Side 1 took the brunt of these, obviously the more frequently played side.
Side 1 has a moderate degree of crackles, mild ticks and light static heard mostly during quieter passages.
Side 2 is much quieter having much less scratches and scuffs. Plays VG+ with a few mild ticks and light crackles here and there.
Jacket: NO SPLITTING , WRITING , STICKERS , BENDS , FADING.
Stain and a few tiny spots in top left corner of front cover. Light wear on seams.
Front Cover: No ring or shelf wear. A couple of light scratches which don't break color.
Back Cover: Light minor ring and shelf wear.
A couple of corners very slightly blunted. Inside gatefold minimal minor ring wear.
