Big Brother & The Holding Company - Cheap Thrills

(CBS 63392 UK LP 1968)

This is a UK original Mono LP pressing. It has a front laminated Mono sleeve & comes with its original "CBS" company paper inner sleeve. This advertises other CBS LP's available at the time. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has textured orange CBS labels. It has 1st press A2/ B1 matrix stampers. This is the rarer UK Mono 1st pressing of this classic late 1960's Psych LP.


Sleeve: There is some mild or moderate rubbing wear to the corner tips. There is light, mild or more moderate rubbing wear at the sleeve opening edges on some areas. This is not too noticeable. There is mild, moderate to considerable rubbing wear on the spine on some areas (see photo). The spine text has been mainly rubbed away. There are no seam splits. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear on some areas. Overall, Very Good minus condition

Vinyl: Side 1 has some light, mild or more moderate sleeve rubs, or surface rub marks, which can be seen under a strong light. Side 2 has mild, more moderate to moderate sleeve rubs, or surface rub marks, which can be seen under a strong light. Side 1 is in Very Good condition. Side 2 is in Good+ condition. Overall, Good+ condition. The labels are in Very Good+ condition & show mild to more moderate spindle wear. The company inner sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. There is a 3.5 cm seam split at the centre of one side. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear. There is some small writing on one side. 

I have fully play tested this LP. It plays Very Good to Very Good+ overall. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in some quieter places. There are a couple of mild clicks on one track on Side 2. Overall, a very serviceable audio copy.
