Description

Artist: Big Sleep

Title: Bluebell Wood

Details: - This is part of my Personal Collection which I have spent many years acquiring and I am gradually selling - On offer here is the very rare Original UK 1st Issue of `Big Sleep`s` Prog LP `Bluebell Wood` on the obscure `Pegasus` Label in Great Condition - Great UK Prog/Jazz - Run out/Matrix side 1 PEG 4 A-1U/side 2 - PEG 4 B-1U B

Rarity:- originally called `The Eyes of Blue` they changed their name to `Big Sleep` and this was their only release and by the time it was in the shops the band had split up, so it never sold making it incredibly hard to find today

Label: Pegasus

Catalogue No: PEG 4

Country: UK

Vinyl: (NM) Beautiful `Thick Vinyl` Pressing, Looks `As New!!`- under Bright Halogen Spotlights I can see just sleeve removal marks no scratches - Top copy. Played Great   Sleeve: (VG+) Decent copy of this `E.J.Day` Gatefold Matt sleeve (previous owner has placed sellotape along the edges), Nice readable spine, Sharp Opening, none of the usual bad fading, (see photos for full overview) still a great find for this very rare sleeve.   Labels: Clean 1st Issue Pegasus Labels - No visible spindle lines   Post/Packing: UK - £5.50, Europe - £7.50, World £11.50 * buy multiple items and save on postage

I use professionally made packers with card stiffeners & record removed from album cover

I use lots of photos to show as accurately as possible what you are getting (also I dont cut the corners of the record sleeve off the picture!!)

Gradings: I use the standard UK gradings as set out in Record Collector Magazine below:

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Near Mint,  EX+, VG+ etc are acceptable additions to help `fine tune` descriptions for the buyer
