This is a sealed copy of the Big Star 'Third' box set released on record store day 16th April 2011.

This is the fourth version of the album I have myself, two are from the seventies on vinyl, and the 'Sister Lovers' extended cd from the early 90's. The sound is great on this version, which is cut from the original analog assembly reel, on the same lathe that cut the 1975 test pressing, by the original engineer Larry Nix in his mastering room at Ardent Studios in Memphis. You also get inside, as well as a white label album, various replicas of tracking sheets, a mastering card, and lyric/guitar tab sheets. Also 5 put of the 2000 have original 1975 signed promos inside.
