This beautiful recording by jazz percussionist Bill Elgart portrays a life from birth to death. The softest sounds combine with the most powerful. Extreme dynamics! This is Volume 3 of a set of demonstration audiophile records produced by audio designer Mark Levinson. Special equipment was built by Levinson for use with calibration microphones and high-speed wide-track tape format to create virtually noiseless, ultra low distortion master tapes. Records were mastered by feeding the original tape through a customer mixer directly into the cutting amplifier rack, with no filtering. No compromise quality and intended for the finest audio playback systems. Record is in NEAR MINT+ condition (appears unplayed) and artistic jacket is NM. Levinson records are hard to find and superb in everyway!
