Description
This is an original pressing on Crossover Records, Cat# CR-9003 (Stereo) The condition of both the cover and the disc is (EX+) the cover is in good shape, all the seams are 'tight and clean' except for a 'one inch' split in the middle of the bottom seam, the corners are still 'mostly square' except for a small 'dent or ding' to the bottom right, and there is some 'light ringwear' on the back cover. (sse pix) The condition of the disc is also (EX+) with nice shiny wax that has only a few, very light 'hairline' type marks that are surface only, plus there is a small scuff at the beginning of track #2 on side #2. It causes a 'light click' for about 7 revolutions before fading out altogether. All in all the LP is in great shape. Released in 1974, the Lp features Billy Broks blowing for all he's worth on his 'Skoonum' horn as well as using a few electronic effects such as the Maestro and the 'Echo Plex' Other musicians include: Britt B. Woodman,Mihran Vartran,Al Hall Jr.,Ray Jackson,Buster Cooper-trombones/ Lonnie Shetter,John Stevens,Tom R. Vigil-alto saxes/ Herman Riley,Tom R. Vigil,Wilbur Brown,Clifford Solomon-tenor saxes/ Bill Carter-baritone sax/ Bob Comden,Mike Artega-trumpets/ Michael J.Conlon-cornet/ Ken Sawhill-bass,bone/Clarence Johnston-drums/ Larry Gales-bass and Jeff Lee-guitar. Benny Powell and Clavin Keyes are also featured. This is a Classic Lp that has never been released on CD. So, if ya' need it grab it, you may not see another offered for quite some time!
