Description
Lot of two Billy Joel LPs, 'The Stranger' and '52nd Street', original UK issues from 1977 and 1978 respectively. Both come from my own collection though I bought these secondhand quite a few years ago.
'The Stranger' Catalogue number 82311 on CBS / Family Productions label, 1977. Produced by Phil Ramone. Matrix runout (Side A) CBS.S.82311.A2 (Side B) CBS.S.82311.B3.
'52nd Street' Catalogue number 83181 on CBS / Family Productions label, 1978. Produced by Phil Ramone. Matrix runout (Side A) CBS.83181 A4 (Side B) CBS.83181 B3.
Play tested before listing, then graded in line with Record Collector Grading System (UK standard, slightly more conservative than US grading).
Grading: 'The Stranger' vinyl is in VG condition, with just a few lines and scuff but still plays remarkably well, with just a few pops and crackles here and there. Original cover is in G+ condition, no fading, but scuffing to corners, storage wear on front and rear, and small split in spine. Plain inner sleeve. Missing lyric sheet. Note that previous owner's signature is on both labels and rear of cover. '52nd Street' vinyl is in VG condition with very few marks and still plays very well. Original cover is in VG condition with just a little storage wear to corners and spine but no splits or fading. Printed inner sleeve in VG+ condition.
From a smoke free home. Records will be sent in a strong record mailer box. Will post to Great Britain and Northern Ireland. No surcharge for Scottish Highlands and Islands. I can combine postage on up to 3 records.
