Description
Simply beautiful copy of the original 1943 pressing of Bing’s classic version of I’ll Be Home for Christmas / Danny Boy on Decca 18570. This is NOT one of the pressings that were made to be included in the Merry Christmas album a couple of years later, but the rare true first single version, released in the middle of wartime during the record ban which restricted pressing runs, and therefore a fairly rare copy, much rarer than the later album pressings. An absolutely lovely copy, too, with only the tiniest gentle wear, barely. Really a top copy that plays perfectly. Shiny and clean like you’ve never seen…
Very hard to beat.
