BIRTHRIGHT Free Spirits ’74 Freelance Records Spiritual Jazz EX RARE

Freelance Records catalog number FS-1, the debut LP from the Buffalo, NY combo Birthright, Free Spirits. Issued in ’’74. Core group members were Nasara Abadey, Joe Ford, Paul Gresham. Guests included the fine pianist Onaje Allen Gumbs, others. Excellent spiritual jazz from a group who recorded just twice to my knowledge. They are the only two records released on the label. Cover (a lovely generic number bought from the back of Billboard magazine) is VG+, maybe EX with general wear, a bit of ringwear, no bumps, creases, splits. Vinyl is EX, unmarked, a fantastic copy of a pretty rare record. Cleaned on the VPI. Bid with confidence. Thanks, have fun and good luck.
