A rare collector’s item! A fabulous gatefold album with extensive notes and text in English/Swedish as well as Finnish, German & French printed on both sides of the inside jacket. The vinyl itself is on the BIS orange label, no. LP-250, pressed in Germany. This is an audiophile digital recording (DMM-Direct Metal Mastering) combining BIS Artistry and TELDEC technology! A world première recording of Jean Sibelius opera in one act “The Maiden in the Tower” plus “Karelia Suite, Op. 11”. Neeme JÄRVI conducts the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra.
