Description
This item is from my personal collection and for the serious collector.In the early eighties,there was a small record shop/performance space in Reseda California down the street from me called Be Bop Records.It was run by Silverlake artist Richard Bruland and KCRW's Rene Engle.Lot's of Spoken Word shows from the likes of Henry Rollins,Exene,Wanda Coleman,etc.Due to the limited space and possible decible limit bands had to tone down.But that didn't stop Zoogz rift from having fun or England's Whitehouse from tearing up the place.Also there was alot of suprise get together acoustic sets.
I picked up this flyer at Be Bop for RAYMOND PETTIBON'S rare showings at the time.For the opening the Minutemen and Tragicomedy performed acoustic sets.I missed the opening but Raymond's art was not to be missed!FANTASTIC!
This must be a rarity among the Pettibon rarities !This flyer has never been folded and has been stored carefully since I picked it up.
