Description
Black Sabbath's self titled debut Album. UK Pressing. Vertigo Records. VO6. 1970.
Very 1st pressing. "Phillips Record product" text. No composer/publisher credits. Large Swirl. Matrix VO6 1y/2y.
Vinyl - Visually when held under a spotlight shows some hairlines and a scuff, no scratches. Just played it through very loud and it sounded just superb, no clicks, no pops, no skips, no sticking. You could hear crackle in between the tracks and in quieter parts. Overall I would grade it VG++.
Nice thick vinyl. Comes with an original vertigo spiral inner which is a bit tatty.
Sleeve - Front has a tear that has been coloured in (I've done a close up photo). Everything else about the sleeve is near perfect. No fraying, no other tears, beautiful straight edges and sharp corners.Spine has no creases and no scuffing. All print on spine is fully readable. If it wasn't for the tear on front I would grade it as a EX++ but with the tear I will call it VG+.
It's becoming very hard to find a 1st pressng of this album and all in all this is not a bad copy.
