RARE!
Even scarcer than the original 'Spiral' label according to Record Collector magazine! A couple of sources say possibly as little as 500 copies pressed.
Sleeve VG
There a bit of creasing/crinkling in the laminate around the front edges and onto the top and side spines, each corner is slightly fluffed from knocks, there is a small red sticker about the size of a penny piece on the front left hand side next to the Vertigo logo and the remnants of another slightly larger sticker (old price sticker) on the front right hand side. The bulk of the back cover is absolutely fine, again, there's just a little creasing in the laminate around the edges (less than the front) and some very slight wear along the bottom. Please see pictures! Overall, the box itself is still shapely.
Note : there was some flare from the camera flash on the bottom of the box on the front/back pictures - that is not additional wear!
Record EX+
Absolutely brilliant condition! The vinyl still has a nice shine to it. There's not one single mark on either side that I noticed after examining it closely in daylight and under a bright light. I carefully played the record through in full once to check it, and rest assured, it sounds excellent! Certainly as good as it looks! There's no pops, clicks or any other surface noise of note to report whatsoever!
Centre labels EX+
Both are still nice and clean with no writing, grubbyness, etc. There's barely any sign of spindle marks on each side indicating that this record has barely ever been played, especially taking into account the overall condition too.
On one label you can see the shadow of the glue used in the pressing process when under a light, but this is obviously not anything to do with condition and is entirely from the manufacturing process. I mention this incase it's mistook for a stain or some sort. As I said, it can only be seen if you tilt the record under a light.
