This is a very sound copy of the 1970 vinyl release of Paranoid by Black Sabbath
- Vertigo swirl labels
- Large swirl above spindle on Side B
- “Vertigo” wording underneath album and band name below the spindle. (1971 issue had the swirl below the hole, so this is genuine 1970 issue)
This is known as 2nd issue ; it does not mention ‘Big Bear’ management inside gatefold - the LP and labels and matrices are , however, identical. The sleeve wording was the only difference …

The condition of the sleeve is fantastic. A few areas of rubbing but excellent for its age
Has the original poly lined swirl inner 0870 date code , in excellent condition, bit of creasing only signs of age….
Labels are like new , very little wear markings - see pics
There are a few small lines on the vinyl , nothing that stands out and very few for the age of the item.
It plays great , some light crackle on quieter tracks like Planet Caravan and I heard 3/4 ticks on Hand of Doom…overall a fantastic listen.
