Black Sabbath's Heavy Metal, Progressive Rock masterpiece
Mega rare 1st UK Press with LARGE VERTIGO SWIRL and Vertigo written at the bottom of the label.
In addition this copy has a very first press 1-Y-1 / 2-Y-1 matrix signifying that it was one of the first batch pressed. As a result it has that amazing 1st press sound quality!
An absolutely superb copy, the best I have ever seen!
The disc retains its original deep, rich shine, there are about three small superficial marks or very faint scratches you can see when held up to a light, which do not affect play at all- the only thing stopping me grading the disc at mint. The labels are ultra clean with only the very faintest of any sign of spindle marks only when held up to a light and looked at very closely. I played to test and the sound quality is amazing, the sound is loud, vibrant and clear. Virtually no surface noise or crackle anywhere. disc grades at NEAR MINT overall
The original, non laminated sleeve grades at EXCELLENT condition - has some slight edge and corner wear and some very slight folding marks. As a non laminated sleeve these are always succeptible to wear through normal use and storage, so this is by far one of the better ones. The sleeve spine is 100% clear of any splitting or serious wear and all the writing on it is easily read.
