Description
Continuing the Vertigo Swirl LP catalogue.....please keep checking back if you are waiting for something in particular as the order is somewhat random....they will all come along eventually.
All are UK issues and nearly all are First Pressings - they will be accompanied by Vertigo inner sleeves in all cases although it could be that it may not be original to that LP as they were stored separately.
There will not be any superfluous information or unnecessary paragraphs to hide the important stuff - just a description of the records and my considered grading having played them for the first time in over 10 years.
1970 LP self-titled by Black Sabbath.
Catalogue number VO 6 with the "Philips Record Product" lettering and large logo on side B.
The vinyl is in VG condition due to two annoying tiny marks on side A both of which cause a skip on my system I'm afraid. I have not been able to do anything about them; you may have better luck. The remainder of the record is EX- with very light crackle in a few places. Obviously, I am making you aware that there are the two skips so I will not accept returns for that reason and the item is priced accordingly.
The gatefold sleeve rates EX- with corner and edge wear and a pin hole through one corner to the rear.
Still eminently collectable and increasingly difficult to find first issue.
Vertigo inner in this case isEX condition.
As these LPs are listed for in excess of £50, Postage prices are now as follows (there is no charge for packing materials and the actual postage cost is higher than stated):
Special Delivery in the UK £8 (this doesn't seem to be an option when listing hence it states 2nd class above but it will be sent Special)
Tracked & Signed to Europe £15.
Tracked & Signed to Elsewhere £17.50.
If you are the successful bidder, please ensure payment is made within four days of auction completion in accordance with eBay policy (the actual written policy is payment within TWO days). If you make a written request, I am willing to hold on to your item for ONE week should you wish to bid on items listed for completion the following week. This will only apply for one additional week and if I am not in receipt of payment for the first item within the said four days, I will have no choice but to report as non-payer. My reasons for this are obvious and I hope you understand.
