Description
BLACK SABBATH. PARANOID LP.
1ST. PRESSING,VERTIGO SPIRAL LABEL CAT # 6360 011 1970.
TRACKS. SIDE A. .WAR PIGS./PARANOID./PLANET CARAVAN./IRON MAN.
SIDE B. ELECTRIC FUNERAL./HAND OF DOOM./RAT SALAD./FAIRIES WEAR BOOTS.
SLEEVE. For an unlaminated sleeve,this one is in EX. condition,with hardly any signs of wear at all.It has no ring wear, and only minimal corner wear,and no creases worth a mention.The spine is almost perfect,without being mint.The inside gatefold surfaces are perfectly clean and unmarked.The black outer faces are still black,and have not lightened to grey like most copies I have seen.The only blemish on this sleeve is some scratch marks in the centre of the rear sleeve surfece.There are 2 about 2" long,and a few very much smaller ones in the centre.(I actually did'nt notice this when I bought the album.)See photo of rear sleeve and see if you can spot them.
ORIGINAL SPIRAL INNER SLEEVE.This is in EX. condition.It is very clean,with only minimal ageing signs of yellowing along the edges.It is ferfectly flat except for one bottom corner which has a slight crease from inserting into sleeve.It has no tears whatsoever.
THE DISC.This is in EX. condition,and still has that "new"sheen.The A. side is unmarked. The B. side has 2 only very minor inaudible surface marks which can be seen when turned into the light.THE DISC PLAYS MINT,BOTH SIDES,WITH NO SURFACE NOISE WHATSOEVER,EVEN BETWEEN TRACKS.
THE LABELS.These are near mint.The white parts are still BRILLIANT WHITE,perfectly clean.
(Sorry about the relatively high start price,but this is such a good copy of this collectable album[and belongs in the hands of a true collector] that I would be foolish to take a chance on it not being spotted by one,and therefore selling it below its value.)
