Up for auction is an ultra rare copy of the Bl'ast! album "The Power Of Expression" released on Greenworld Records (GWD90530) in 1986. Includes original insert with liner notes and lyrics (very rare). This copy is an absolutely real first pressing, unlike many that have been sold on eBay as "first pressings." Most copies of this album are on the SST label, which is the second label that issued this record in 1987. This copy was issued by Greenworld Records in 1986. The album cover has NO UPC bar code. In the dead wax on Side One it reads, "I die laughing at you when you laugh at me. In the dead wax on Side Two, it reads "Scream for tomorrow." The cover is in great condition. Front and back cover are glossy and new looking. No ring wear, tears, or losses. Seams are tight, intact, with no splits. Corners are sharp, though the lower right corner has a very small crease and a factory punch hole. Upper left corner is every so slightly rubbed. Other than that, the cover looks no different from the day I bought it in 1986. Grade the cover Near Mint (NM). The vinyl is equally as beautiful. Original high gloss luster and sheen is all still there. No obvious scratches or scuffs. No marks around spindle holes, indicating very little previous handling and play. Under certain light and at certain angles you can see very faint hairlines here and there caused by taking the disc out of the inner sleeve. From my personal collection, I know this album has been played once back in the day--and stored ever since. I grade the vinyl Near Mint (NM). This record is as nice a copy as you're going to find. And in my opinion, it's better than a sealed copy because at least with this one, you know what's inside--no surprises. This is a very rare hardcore record, not likely to show up again any time soon, especially in this condition.
