BLIND LEMON JEFFERSON, LECTRIC CHAIR BLUES/SEE THAT MY GRAVE IS KEPT CLEAN , ON PARAMOUNT 12608.
I DO NOT HAVE VERY MUCH EXPERIENCE GRADING 78 RPMS, SO I AM GOING TO GRADE THIS RECORD LIKE I GRADE 45'S AND LP'S. I WILL TRY TO DESCRIBE IT THE BEST I CAN. I WOULD'VE GRADED THIS RECORD A IS IN G, MAYBE G+ CONDITION, EXCEPT THAT IT IS CRACKED. IT HAS A 3 3/4 INCH CRACK RUNNING FROM THE SPINDLE HOLE, THROUGH THE DEAD WAX AND INTO THE GROOVES. IT PLAYS FINE. TO GIVE YOU SOME IDEA, IN MY THIRD PICTURE THE CRACK RUNS JUST ABOVE THE RULER, FROM THE CENTER HOLE TO THE 3 3/4 INCH MARK ON THE RULER. IT COULD PROBABLY USE A GOOD CLEANING AS WELL, BUT I'LL LEAVE THAT UP TO THE BUYER TO DECIDE. THE ONLY PLAYER I HAVE THAT PLAYS 78 RPMS IS AN OLD RECORD PLAYER LIKE THEY USED TO HAVE IN SCHOOLS. IT HAS SOME HISSING BUT PLAYS PRETTY GOOD. I KNOW THAT THESE RECORD PLAYERS AREN'T THE BEST QUALITY AND THAT BOTH A MINT RECORD AND A BEAT RECORD WOULD PROBABLY HISS AND SOUND ABOUT THE SAME, BUT THAT'S ALL I HAVE. THE LABELS LOOK PRETTY GOOD.
