DESCRIPTION & TITLE.

This is a 2 sided Acetate which I know very little about.Made from metal,the thin vinyl coating makes up the playing surface.The labels give details of the songs so no need to list them.I have played only one side,there are lots of crackles but it played through from start to finish without any hitches.

At that point I started to think I may have something of high value,it certaily must be rare,so I have not played the other side.

I won't grade the labels,they are plain to see,but please note that on the first side about two thirds of the label has become unglued and I have made no attempt to re-fix it,I imagine it is an easy job with Pritt-Stick,that is what I would do if I kept it.

As I don't know the age,or much about acetates,I welcome any questions,but I think that the pictures show what you need to know.

The Vinyl playing surfaces show nothing more than light surface marks,but it is slightly dusty,and I dare not try to clean this Acetate,I simply don't know how.If this was a record I would give it an Excellent rating.I don't know the correct stylus required to play this Acetate.

The size of this Acetate is 8 inches across,minus 1/16".That is 20 cm.

Although the labels say 78rpm,this plays at 33 1/3rpm.I think that when scaled up to he 10",or even 12" size,then the record plays at 78rpm,or maybe this was made from a 78,then scaled down to 8" and playing at 33 1/3.I am no expert,and this is the first time I have ever seen an acetate.This record came with a collection of Jazz and Folk 10" LP's,and 7" EP's I am currently,and soon to be listing.I also have 1 more Acetate by The Master Sound System and the artist is Tommy McLennan.

Some of these records are high in value.If you want Recorded delivery,please change the invoice,or the amount you pay,international sellers,please ask for the options available.To avoid too much trouble,I am charging the same price for all the postage costs of these records,to avoid working it out each time,I think it is a fair price for a safely packed parcel

All Items are Graded As In The Record Collector 2006 Price Guide,in Brief these grades are as folows:

Mint-Unplayed,sealed or as good as an unplayed undamaged item,.

Excellent-Some signs the record has been played,very little lessening in sound quality.Cover/Packaging might have slight wear/creasing.

Very Good-Been Played many times,no major deterioration in sound,despite noticeable surface marks,occational light scratch.Normal wear & tear on the cover or extra items,without major defect is acceptable.

Good-Played so much,used so much,sounds bad,many problems such as splits,stains etc.

Fair-Just Playable-not nice.
