Description

Blondie self titled debut album Chrysalis CHR 1165 from 1977 with the extremely rare green label.

 

This is a fantastic example of the extremely rare Blondie album, UK pressing A/1 B/1, with the green and red label which was replaced by the more familiar blue and white one during the pressing, it is very rare for one of these Blondie albums with this label to come up for sale, especially in such good condition.

The vinyl is spotless, I can see no marks of any significance whatsoever and no fingerprints, the record plays beautifully, with the only surface noise being a very small amount between tracks, the labels are very clean with no pen marks or other defacement, there are a few light spindle marks. Personally I would rate the actual record as excellent +, not far off mint. This record has been in my possession since I bought it on release and has not been lent out, it has only been played a dozen or so times.

 

The plastic lined inner sleeve is in good condition with some slight discolouration to the opening edge.

 

The sleeve is also excellent with no rips, tears, pen marks or fading, it has a very slight amount of shelf wear to the top and bottom edges, but this is minimal, it has a faint crease mark across the bottom left hand corner, but again this is barely noticable. The spine is clean and undamaged.

 

This is an excellent opportunity to own this Blondie rarity.
