Description
For auction is BLOSSOM DEARIE's self-titled record on Verve MG V-2037, MONO, 1957.
SOUND: VG+
It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. Side A sounds terrific, with 10-20 seconds of light static in the intro to A2, "LoverMan" a few soft crackles from B2-into-B3, "Now At Last." A soft tick here and there otherwise, very minor, I only mention these to be complete! A great playback overall!
VINYL: VG+
Visually, the vinyl looks very nice. One noticeable scratch in B3, with a couple soft crackles associated, and one mark in A2 (results in 10-20 seconds of static, looks worse than it is). On black labels with silver lettering. Deep-Grooved both sides.
COVER: VG+
The cover is very nice. The edges are solid and the corners just a little bit softened. Front and back are clean and unmarked and retain a good sheen. Just a little routine aging.

A great record in very nice condition. No reserve, bidding starts at $20.
Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
