Deep Groove … Heavy platter.  767 Lexington Ave. NYC, … ear and RVG etched in the dead wax.  VG+++ to Near Mint.  A very clean and seldom played early Blue Note 12” LP.

Labels are very clean and white … no significant spindle wear (if any) … Both sides have a very few light marks and/or some light paper/sleeve scuffs … nothing deep or distracting. This LP has not seen that much action or a lot of turntable time … Looks great.  Another very well-preserved piece of Blue Note history.  The guy I purchased this from (I’m the 3rd owner) called the vinyl Near Mint … Really nice and clean.  VG with 2 or 3 +’s might be more conservative.  The 5th release in the 1500 12” Series (right behind Miles Davis and Bud Powell Vol.’s 1 & 2).  Very cool Francis Wolff photo on the “John Hermansader” cover (pre-Reid Miles).

Jacket looks great … VG + … Just the start of a split bottom right-hand corner (near the opening), looks great for over 50 years old.  No writing.  Back is white and clean.  Lexington address on back cover – bottom.  Typical light shelf wear .  See pictures.  Incredible line-up of players.   Low reserve.
