LOU DONALDSON: "THE TIME IS RIGHT" LP - On BLUE NOTE Records, #4025.   Extremely rare vintage jazz Lp!  Original MONO pressing with the classic Blue & White labels and the 47 WEST 63rd NYC address on both labels.  The label is DEEP GROOVE on both sides.  RVG stamped in the trail-off on both sides.  "EAR" symbol etched in the trail-off on side 2.  Thick vinyl, thick laminated cardboard cover.  The personnel:  Blue Mitchell/trumpet; Lou Donaldson/alto sax; Horace Parlan/piano; Laymon Jackson/bass; Dave Bailey/drums; Ray Barretto/conga.  The thick laminated cover is in VG+ shape & displays nicely.  Faint signature & a few light mildew stains on back side.  Slight wear at corner tips.  No cut-out marks, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking.  Address on back cover is 43 West 61st St., New York 23.  The vinyl is in VG condition, very glossy in spite of visible wear, sleeve lines & light scratches.  Not a high-grade copy of this artifact, but amazingly hard to find in any condition. The songs are:  Lou's Blues; Be My Love; Idaho; The Nearness of You; Mack The Knife; Crosstown Shuffle; Tangerine.
