Other notes - BLUESOLOGY - Middlesex based group Bluesology were formed in 1964 and comprised Rex Bishop (bass), Stuart Brown (guitar / vocals), Reg Dwight (keyboards) and Mick Inkpen (drums). A blues and R&B based band they backed a lot of visiting American singers before becoming Long John Baldrey's regular backing group in the mid 60s, during the period between him leaving Steampacket and becoming a solo balladeer. Bluesology only recorded one single, 'Just A Little Bit' in 1967 with Stuart Brown on vocals. Dwight later changed his name to Elton John to achieve fame worldwide, while Brown joined Cochise.

 

This single was originally issued as part of the Fontana Singles Box Set 'Hits And Rarities - Volume 1' in late 80s.

 

The record company sleeve is in Mint Condition.
