Absolutely AMAZING Italian Library production and one of the best war and dramatic themed music from the golden 1970s Italian music production. Music by the Giallo music master and E.Morricone's orchestra director BRUNO NICOLAI. A very hard to find LP from the cult Usignolo catalogue produced in collaboration with the historical Italian news/documentary company ISTITUTO LUCE born in the '20s. Original soundtrack for the war documentary "LETTERE DAL FRONTE" directed by Vittorio Schiraldi and focused on the second world war. Superb, astonishing orchestral jam with refined Drama music composed for war scenes and remiscent of some quality Morricone's Thriller soundtracks. Mindmelting Italian '70s styled compositions with deep and thrilling themes / heavy drums and percussions sections with loads of marches and drums roll / broken and evil melodies alternated by intense themes / sinister Harpsichord jobs and creepy strings orchestra / pressed piano notes / dark and tensed vibes underlining desperation, nostalgia, war, sorrow or heart breaking moments. Maestro Bruno Nicolai unknown dopeness music and evergreen MASTERPIECE.
