PYE NPL28029 (CHESS) UK 1961
12 brilliant tracks recorded between 1956 & 1961 and there is not a dud amongst them.
Bo is in his usual great form on vocals and guitar and on one track Call Me (Bo's Blues) he is wailing away playing harmonica type fills on a violin !
Backing musicians include: Jerome Green maracas, Billy Boy Arnold harmonica, Lester Davenport harmonica, Otis Spann piano, Lafayette Leake piano, Clifton James drums, Frank Kirkland drums & Willie Dixon bass,

The glossy fronted sleeve shows a bit of shelf / age wear but no more than can be expected for a record that is now 52 years old! A previous owner has written the times of each track alongside the titles in blue ink. Also there is a thin line of clear tape along the edge where you insert the record into the sleeve. Why I don't know - there are no rips, splits or tears.
The LP is excellent condition - it has no sticks, clicks, scuffs or scratches - the music rings out loud and clear.
