BPG 62515, original 1965 UK first issue orange 'CBS' mono record labels.

A UK album in original condition, featuring:

1. the records 'catalogue reference' of 'BPG' has not been engraved on the records 'run off' grooves,

2. earliest UK outer sleeve, made not by 'CBS', but by, 'E J Day',

3. earliest original UK 1965 orange CBS record labels, featuring:

a. textured and ridged labels,

b. a printing error of, '33', as the '1/3' playing speed has not been printed onto each of the record labels,

c. the 'track titles' on side one, the layout appears more 'compact',

4. comes with its original 'CBS' inner sleeve.

CONDITION:

THE OUTER COVER: is in 'very good++' condition, the front of the sleeve is laminated. The spine is in 'excellent' condition and has remained clean, white and straight and all of the text on the spine is clear to read. The sleeve features the original UK period, tri 'flipback' design, ie 'fold over' edges. There are NO tears, splits or pen writing on the sleeve.

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in 'very good' condition and is the original UK period, 'British Patent No. 800513', ‘CBS’ inner sleeve. Theres NO pen writing, tears or splits to the inner sleeve.

THE RECORD: each side of the record is in 'very good++' condition. The record is made of the period quality UK 1960s 'thick heavy' vinyl.

The records matrix is: 62515 3A - 1 and 62515 3B - 1,

THE AUDIO: side one plays 'excellent'. Side two, I did hear some 'ticks' on track one, otherwise side two plays 'excellent'. The record lays flat on the turntable and plays with a full loud, period 'mono' sound.

THE RECORD LABELS: each of the record labels are in 'excellent++' condition. Each of the record labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

MY GRADING OF THE RECORD AND SLEEVES IS BASED UPON THE OFFICIAL GRADING SYSTEM FROM THE ‘RECORD COLLECTOR’ MAGAZINE.

Postage and packing.

All records posted to a UK address will be sent 1st class and to be signed for on delivery.

Packing - all records are posted with multi layered card stiffeners for protection. Before posting, the record is removed from the records original inner and outer sleeves, the record is then put into a second inner sleeve to minimise any damage that may occur while in transit.

The record / sleeves are then put into a plastic sleeve for further protection.

Discount will be given on postage for multiple purchases.

In the UK – there maybe an additional cost for insurance as the seller has no protection if the item goes missing in the post, therefore post and packing charges may vary.

In non EU country’s an ‘import tax’ and a couriers ‘clearance fee’ may need to be paid, this is down to the buyer to pay these fees.
