I'm 72 years old. My kids don't want any of my vinyl records so I'm selling my collection starting with the bootlegs. More to come so save me as a favorite seller.
Another incredible piece on the GWW Label. This is the George Harrison Nashville session that was recorded on May 1, 1970 at CBS studios-Nashville. except *CBS studios-Nashville May '69. This 1986 release from the German label GWW has a great cover shot of a full-bearded Dylan on the front, and a nice photo of Bob and George on the back cover along with information. The album is pressed on deep purple or grey marbleized vinyl with the custom drawn label 'Dylan with scarf'. Dylan snuck into Columbia’s Studio B in New York on May Day and recorded for 12 hours with George Harrison, lead guitarist for a reportedly defunct British rock and roll group, the Beatles. Denials that the session took place were issued by Dylan’s personal secretary and by producer Bob Johnston, who chuckled: “Where did you hear that? Some people will say anything!” But a session there was, and, according to reports, it was a monster. Described as “kind of a nice, loose thing,” the get-together was produced by Johnston, who also sat in on keyboard. Other musicians included Charlie Daniels on bass and an unidentified drummer.
