Incredibly rare limited edition of Bob Dylan Highway 61 Revisited in a factory sealed condition. Very early 1st Stereo pressing with a unique original stylized hand drawn portrait of Bob Dylan suitable for framing on a textured paper, located on the back cover underneath the shrink wrap, by Saul Lambert, an artist for Columbia Records. Lambert also produced sketches of other Columbia artists. This sketch became the basis for a promotional easel-backed poster captioned “Bob Dylan on Columbia Records.” The portrait was part of a label-wide campaign that was marked by several of Lambert’s sketches. On 1 September, 1965, Stan Kavan of Columbia had written to its distributors and sales managers enclosing this "unique Dylan portrait" and advising that it would be "packed under the skin wrap on the liner side" of "all copies of your initial shipment.” The portrait was included with initial copies only and was sold only in several US states. Considering these circumstances, it can be assumed that this copy contains an alternate, longer version of "From A Buick 6" with an extended harmonica intro, which was present only on the early 1st Stereo copies, but we can’t be certain about it and can only assume it. Original 1st print cover with the title photograph taken by Daniel Kramer, which was used when creating the concept for the album’s design. Kramer spent more than a year photographing the performer in private, on tour, and onstage, and captured Dylan more artfully and more prolifically that anyone else. The vinyl contains the original very early 1st print red and white "360 Sound Stereo" Columbia Records 2-Eye labels with the "Nonbreakable" banner on the left side. This unique copy, just like a sealed copy of Bob Dylan Freewheelin’, currently listed at our auction, is coming from the private collection of a record collector from Los Angeles.

Realizing how important it is to secure the safety of the item you've paid your money for, I'll put my best effort into packing the records as best as possible, triple boxing them into the specialized professional boxes, with the two outer boxes having a special construction with extended cardboard on the edges to prevent the record covers' corners from getting damaged during the transit, and will also put the vinyl outside of the cover (of course, unless it's a sealed record) to prevent the splitting. I always try responding to the messages, but please, before sending me a message, make sure that the answer to your question isn't included in the description.
