Description

Here's an original 1965 US STEREO pressing of BOB DYLAN'S MASTERPIECE-- HIGHWAY 61 REVISITED on the COLUMBIA 2 EYE label. It is one of the most important LPs in rock history.  His first record using electric guitars and rock musicians, and was released just a month after famously going electric at Newport. That set angered traditional folksters including Festival organizer, Pete Seeger.  They say it as a death sentence to the folk they knew, and maybe they were right.  However, it did start a genre, Folk Rock.  The cover is VG+ condition.  It has some ring wear on the front, a split (paper separation) on the spine for 3" between Dylan and Revisited. On the back cover, there's a fingerprint size grey ink next to the bottom left photo.  The vinyl plays great NM with beautiful dynamics, and sound stage.  Super clean vinyl that seemingly has has very little play.  How many of these LP's can say that?  Comes with the original inner which is in VG+ condition with age toning.  The labels are clean with no spindle marks. Bottom of side 1 label is a black ink stamp of the name Rob Winston.
