Description
On offer is an original monaural copy of Bob Dylan's classic 1964 LP The Times They Are A-Changin', Columbia CL 2105.
The record plays fine, sounds mostly very good -- bright, clear and full. There is light crackle noticeable on most tracks and a some pops but nothing dramatic. The record provides a pleasant listen. The vinyl still has a bit of its original shine and gloss. It has some light surface marks and slight scratches but nothing that causes skips or catches. The labels are clean and bright.
I grade it Very Good Minus going by the Record Collector magazine definition of Very Good as "The record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch."
The matt cover is very good to excellent. It has no structural flaws but has some soiling, slight wear, my name on the front and a few chips near the lower left corner. See photos.
I have owned this LP since 1970. After four years of college, classmates were selling some of their records. I was buying.
