"THE LIFE OF MARY SOTHERN" RADIO SHOW TRANSCRIPTION DISC RECORDED BY TRANSAMERICAN BROADCASTING & TELEVISION CORPORATION .  ONE COMPLETE 15 MINUTE RADIO PROGRAM ON THIS 16 INCH, BLACK LAQUER ACETATE, 33 1/3 RPM DISC.  THIS DISC WAS RECORDED FOR REFERENCE PURPOSES ONLY AND NOT AVAILABLE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC.  VERY RARE! 

Side One contains "The Life Of Mary Sothern" radio program #194 circa 1940.  Program is sponsored by Ipana Toothpaste with commercials.   Sound on this side of the disc is Exellent-.  15 minutes

Side two of this disc contains approximately 17 minutes of a 30 minute "Bob Hope Show" radio program of February 6, 1940.  It begins during Bob Hope's opening monologue.  Skinnay Ennis sings "Bluebirds In The Moonlight".  Includes a comedy scene with Bob Hope & Judy Garland.  Program also includes Jerry Colonna & Bill Goodwin.  There is a $5,000 contest to name Bill Goodwin's new baby girl.  Program is sponsored by Pepsodent.  The sound on this side of the disc is Very Good to Excellent.   There is a change of volume at the very start of the program and some surface noise.     None of this distracts from the content of this very rare program - I could not find any reference to any other copy of this radio program - quite possibly the only existing copy
