Fully play-tested: There are some light scuff and hairline marks visible under bright light, resulting in light crackles on the lead-ins and between tracks. There is a very slight warp (the needle arm moves up and down slightly), but it doesn't cause any skips and doesn't effect play or result in any groove distortion. This is common for many of the VG+ records of this era. Some light background crackles can be heard during the quieter parts of the music (such as the introductory part of Lay Your Hands on Me), but never overwhelming the music. Grades as a lower-end VG+ record. I've included a 1 minute sample of I'll Be There For You with it's quieter introduction to demonstrate the overall strong sound quality, even during the album's quality moments.
The album jacket is in strong condition. The color remains vibrant, there is no ring-wear, stains, or writing. There is a tiny bit of edgewear, a corner bend in the upper left-hand corner and a tiny bit of sticker residue in the upper right hand corner. Altogether an EXCELLENT cover!
The color inner sleeve remains in EXCELLENT condition with no seam splits.
The vinyl has been cleaned, handled with audiophile gloves (not hands), and stored and ships in an audiophile-quality anti-static inner sleeve. I also always store and ship albums in a protective 3 mil. plastic sleeve to keep these precious albums in excellent condition. This costs me a bit more, but it's worth it to ensure a high-quality record stays as pristine as possible.
