Label:   PRESTIGE.  Monaural pressing on medium thick vinyl.  Label is blue with silver text, with “trident” logo. Heavily laminated jacket.  “VAN GELDER” machine stamped in runout area.  Catalog number is PR 7386.   

Year:  1964.

Personnel:   Booker Ervin – tenor sax;  Jaki Byard - piano;  Richard Davis – bass;  Alan Dawson – drums.

Note:  This album comes from an extremely well cared-for jazz collection where the original owner cherished his albums, played them once or twice at most, and stored them under optimal conditions.  This is a fantastic opportunity for the collector who insists on top condition.

Condition: 

DISC:  Vinyl is gorgeous NM-!  The playing surface is immaculate, with a high luster, played a small number of times and handled with care.  Plays flawlessly with superb fidelity.  Labels are clean and pristine with one or two small light spindle trail marks.  You will be hard pressed to find a nicer sounding copy! 

JACKET:   Laminated jacket is beautiful NM- with stunningly bright front and reverse panels.  No marks, dings, or blemishes.  Perfect seams and sharp corners.   There is a small drill hole in upper left corner indicating that the record was originally sold as a cutout.
